YELP's algorithm fail in Westchester

Hi fellow 'hounds...

I haven't posted in quite a while, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced a MAJOR FAIL when it comes to Yelp's algorithm "filtering"

More specifically, we've been to some really great restaurants (Fortina, The Parlour and Burratta) that have less than 4 stars and more recently, a slew of 4-5 star reviewed restaurants and food establishments with less that stellar food.

We went to Mambo 64, for instance, with a whopping 5 stars and 51 reviews-- food was just ok. Or Trilogy, a bakery with 20something 5 star reviews and I've had better cheesecake in the Bronx. Another dud was Park 143 Bistro in Bronxville, with 62 reviews and an aggregate of 4.5 stars and it was the most uninspiring meal ever.

Maybe I'm just missing out on something...

How can 62 people get it "wrong?" It doesn't seem as if they shill reviews (maybe they do) But I really find the Yelp reviews in Westchester to be much more lenient than they are in the city. What are your thoughts?
