Yee Sang (魚生) or Yu Sang is a salad of julienned vegetables and other ingredients with slices of raw fish and a sauce usually based on plum sauce, particularly popular in Malaysia and Singapore amongst the Chinese population for Chinese New Year celebrations. There are some scattered threads that refer to this dish here on Chowhound. The dish is also somewhat hard to find here in the US, with a few places serving it in SF, NYC, LA (I believe). It is not found in my area, not even Chicago AFAIK, with Chinese restauranteurs not even having ever heard of the dish.
