Yeast for breadmakers

Kiwigirlok | Dec 19, 2002 04:17 PM

It seems to me that using the mixed yeast (with improvers etc) in a breadmaker is an expensive way to go compared with just ordinary dried yeast. Does anyone have a recipe for mixing the yeast with the extras yourself or alternately how much dried yeast to use instead of using the premixed. I need to keep two yeasts so that I can use the machine or mix by hand if that is the loaf I want

Thanks
