I have been chosen to research ideas for a New Year's Eve night out and one person in the group can't believe that anything cool happens in the outer boroughs, so I must include some outer borough stuff (preferably Brooklyn) to prove her wrong and to give us more options.
We are all chowhounds and love the little out of the way ethnic places, but can go for more haute as long as it doesn't break the bank. We also want music and dancing somewhere along the way, either in the same place as dinner, or at another venue. We dont' really want the usual fare of big Manhattan clubs but something different, maybe world music, but danceable and fun.
Addresses or cross streets would be great, if you have them, or just the general neihborhood. I can look that info up.
