This long time Berkeley institution changed hands in 2000. I've heard that the new chef has revitalized the cooking and is making great noodles and weeken-only northern style breakfasts (soy milk, crullers, dumplings, etc.). The online menu lists "double skins", a Shandong favorite, as a chef's special.
