As I was shlepping home down Sixth Avenue this evening, I noticed a new storefront, all lit up. I crossed the street to investigate and was seized upon by a very friendly man, probably the owner, and invited to investigate inside. I found a smallish restaurant with a lovely back garden full of wooden tables. The menu (though I could not tell if they were actually serving) consisted of a wide variety of yakitori, plus some other small dishes like char and oysters. Prices seemed reasonable. Beer and sake was advertised as on the house, so if you're stuck in Brooklyn this weekend, go! It is on Sterling and 6th avenue.
