Picked up food from this new place over the weekend. It's located on 6th ave. in the space formerly occupied by the Olive Vine. Spent $25 for 2, and ended up cooking at home to supplement the super-meager portions. The yakis themselves were tiny (one 4" skewer @ aprox. $2 a pop) and the ingredients were uninspired. The non-yaki food was equally dull and generic. It's too bad, b/c the owner was a nice guy & is apparently expecting a baby soon! Unfortunately, pricey mediocrity seems to be the norm in the UWS-oops, I mean the Slope.
