Xink Xink report and urgent advice needed

lehouxp | Dec 24, 201004:01 AM

First thanks to many hounds for the Xink XinK rec cause without it we would had probably ended up at Pho pasteur and we would have miss a great meal (we don't have many vietnamesse restaurants in Quebec) and a great service (important when your are showing up we 2 young hungry kids straight out of a long road trip)

We had the chicken lemongrass lettuce wraps for starters and our kids enjoy seing their parents trying to assemble the wraps. It was really fesh and tasty and the chicken was really good.

we then share a rare beef and flank pho (a kids favorite and good by our standard) the pork chops (really good) and a five spice duck and shitake mushrooms soup (not so sure if we were still in vietnam there ???) that was recommanded by our waitress and that was absolutely amazing with a rich broth, great thin noodles and fall off the bone duck.

So a great first meal for us. We pick up Mike's pastry after diner so we could have breakfast at the hotel and today we are off to lunch at antico Forno today (a favorite of us we don't have any good red sauce joint in our city so Antico Forno is always a fixture when we visit Boston) but we need advice from you guys on diner.

we want to have take out sushi that we're gonna enjoy at our hotel (the lenox in back bay) so i need tips on good options (price not a factor) i don't necessarely need delivery since i don't mind walking a bit

thanks everyone and merry christmas to all
