"xiao lung bao"?? Spelling mistake in both New York Times and Village Voice. Anyone have any better restaurant advice?

Both the New York Times and Village Voice spell "xiao long bao" as "xiao lung bao" in articles on the topic that just appeared.

The Voice also attempted to transliterate another word, but it is so far off it is not clear what they were trying to get at, "ninplo"?? Even if the menu contains this mistake, that is no reason to replicate it.

Onto the content and commentary on the restaurants which is what this board is about --

Does anyone who knows Shanghai food have any comments on Shanghai Cafe on Mott north of Canal?

Was excited to see this open a while back, but impression was that it is not authentic Shanghai.

I wouldn't follow the Voice's review as it does not display any sort of knowledge of Chinese food, but if someone else can vouch for the place. . .
