Both the New York Times and Village Voice spell "xiao long bao" as "xiao lung bao" in articles on the topic that just appeared.
The Voice also attempted to transliterate another word, but it is so far off it is not clear what they were trying to get at, "ninplo"?? Even if the menu contains this mistake, that is no reason to replicate it.

Was excited to see this open a while back, but impression was that it is not authentic Shanghai.
I wouldn't follow the Voice's review as it does not display any sort of knowledge of Chinese food, but if someone else can vouch for the place. . .
