This is the Grand Opening of place the Melanie and Chibi spotted when they were chasing the Duck dish and found the Saigon Sandwiches.

They opened last week and had a intro price for their buffet lunch at $7.99. Their regular price will be $12.99.

They serve Sushi, Chinese, Korean and Tappon cooking.

There was four types of sushi freshly made but the rolls were not that good. I did not go back after the first thur.

The was a good selection of cold salads made up of Chinese, Korean and Western types.

They were 10 or more hot dishes with four types of soup. The normal stuff chicken, beef, fish and vegetables. There was a steamed Japanese egg dish in a teacup(I forget the Japanese name). Everything was hot and added to on a regular basis. All good but nothing the stands out.

The best part of the meal was the tappan cooking and a Oyster Rockefeller. A chef cooked fish, beef and vegetable on the grill. If you stood there and waited you can serve yourself fresh grill white fish. I went back for the oysters and grill food.

The desserts were ok, expect the sweet chestnut roll.

Being new the place was spotless and the serve was very good. They were still in the process fo training bus boys while we were eating.

In the Chinese Newspaper today they had a ad that this weekend for Moon Festrial they were having a buffet dinner for $29.00 with Manie Loster and King Crab.

As buffets go in Sout Bay it does not stand out. There are other that serve better sushi, or better Chinese but being new I will try it again later. But it is a good start. I did notice that the kitchen was checking how the food was hold out at the table and they resupply the trays before they run out.

Call to check on the prices before going. The intro price of $7.99 is good, but I would have to think about 12.99
