Woodyard BBQ was in a light industrial area with the pits figuring prominent at the front of the building. The smell of smoking meat was mouth-watering upon our arrival. We shared a three-meat plate with potato salad side. Ordered a small of the famous chili and for good measure added one smoked chicken wing. Brisket was similar to Joe's but not as flavorful without the sauce. Sausage was pork, somewhat bland but well-made and was enhanced by the sauce. Pork baby back ribs had a flavorful rub and nice smoke ring and flavor. Sauce to the sweet side and went best with brisket. The wing was excellent combinations of crispy skin and juicy meat. Chili meh. Potato salad was dynamite with perfectly cooked red skinned potatoes and lots of pepper. Brownie was chocolatey goodness. Solid B+
