Just opened and still sort of feeling its way, this place nonetheless has a lot going for it: an ambitious chef and general manager with a good background, and deep-pocketed backers. The menu is pricey and meat-heavy but there are plenty of small plates as they feature a major bar. Well-thought out wine, beer, and bourbon selections. Worth the trip, good to try for an adventure if you have spare cash. Many entrees are around 27$ and you will definitely want more. Starters include a variety of prepared oyster dishes, for example.
This is the place that was meant to open a year ago as the controversial Prime 6. Same owners, but just a regular place, not a night club (though this merits watching). One of the few places around with top notch food but an informal vibe. Nice garden.
