I'm visiting for 3 nights- tonight I'm after the best pizza in san fran within a short commute, or under 20 minute walk of Nob Hill.
I've read mixed things about Tony's Pizza Napoletana, and am considering it. If nothing else it definitely sounds like they are indeed passionate about pizza and there are some stellar posts about it. Also is Picco Pizzeria closeish and a better choice? I read through the wood over post (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/679109) but it's a little overwhelming!
I'd love to hear some personal favorites for wood fired around here.
Also for tomorrow & the next day: If you have other must taste places of ANY type of food for breakfast / lunch/dinner and bars to go to I'd appreciate it. We have a couple more nights to go and so far are loving it here.
Hope we'll see you on the town. After pizza we'll probably hit up Tosca for a few bevy's and listen to some soul on the jukebox.
Thanks in advance chowhounders!
