There hasn't been much Wonton to write home about
in Flushing, but I've been enjoying the Wonton
at the "Food Court" on Main Street by Hong Kong Supermarket ( not the Flushing Mall Food Court......the "Food Court")and I want to share it with the board.
Its "C's Hk Tasty Food" which is the first stall you encounter as you hit the second floor. Its a mom and pop operation, very much old style HK. They serve a very nice Jook, but I really like their Wonton with noodles. The noodles are very expertly cooked, leaving them tense and they have a nice "crispness" when you eat them. But their wontons are the reason to go: Big and stuffed with Shrimps (most places shirk on the shrimp) they literally snap in your mouth.
Go try them if you get a chance.
