A friend has emailed with an interesting question, leaving me feeling like I'm on some bizarre episode of Chopped.
He is big into doing homebrews, and is getting ready to make a holiday beer, after which he'll have about 10 lbs. of crushed chocolate malt grains. I have no idea what this will taste like after it's been through the brew process.
He wants to know if he can use the leftover grains in any kind of food recipe, like cookies or muffins? I wouldn't think that there would be much flavor left in the grains after they've been through the brew process, but figured if anyone would have any ideas for it, the folks of Chowhound would!
