Wine

Wise acre kids.

My son's latest post on Facebook:

Perks of having a wine geek dad. "I need some wine to cook with" he gives me a 15 year old Chateauneuf du Pape.

What the heck, I had a bottle of a 2000 Domaine de la Charbonnière Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Vieilles Vignes out so I told him to use that. He only needed half a cup. He and I finished the bottle with dinner. It went beautifully with the brisket he made. I am a big believer of not cooking with anything you wouldn't drink.
