Where will you go for Winterlicious 2011 lunch and why?

precious | Jan 27, 201102:36 PM     4

I am not a conaisseur, by any means, as my previous posts will certify. However, every year, I do like to attend Winterlicious. Last year, one restaurant (a downtown popular spot) which I had heard rave reviews of prior to attending was a sheer and utter disappointment. The service was unengaged, the venue itself-- unremarkable, the food--- average at best. The "tartelette" (sp?) was about as enticing as a fossilized Little Debbie cake. It was SO HARD I could have whipped it through the window and broken it. (the window, not the tart).

Undaunted, I shall be attending Winterlicious again this year, during lunch hour only. Some places have delighted, others, less so. My first stop this year will be Toula. I have also had a friend request to go to Didier. For those of you whose experience is more vast than mine, your expertise is humbly sought after-- what are your favourite spots for Winterlicious lunch and why?

Thanks in advance :)
