I have an offer from a neighbour who is moving, to pick up a William Sonoma made in France stamp copper stock pot , almost 11 inches tall and 11 inch diameter, hammered, brass handles with lid for $300. Looks to be about 1.8-2 mm thickness and looks to by Mauviel even if it doesn't state it. Can any of the copper experts chime if this is a good deal or over kill? I don't think I will use it that often. Was thinking if I keep using I will keep it or sell it at a later date.
Thank you for any of your inputs.
