She plays a game I think she calls "stump the chowhound." She comes home from the supermarket with something strange from the produce section, sets it on the counter and says "Hah, cook that, chowhound!" This time I'm stumped. It looks like a giant okra, about 14 inches long. Maybe more like a ridged hothouse cucumber. Can anyone help me figure out what it is and, better yet, how to turn it into something delicious?
