A few days ago I had the urge for a good, greasy cheesesteak. I remember reading about WhizWit here and seeing it somewhere on Union St, inside a bar if I recall correctly. My girlfriend and I decided to go for lunch, but the bar(Blue Light?) was closed during lunch hours. I didn't see any signs of WhizWit though, no menu and no little signs. I remembered seeing a little WhizWit sign somewhere around the bar before. Anyhow...we settled for crepes.

Later on that day on the way of taking my GF to the airport, we, actually I, decided to swing by the Folsom location for dinner. Drove around the block(Folsom btw 11 and 12th) a few times and didn't see a WhizWit, but discovered V Cafe, which also make cheesesteaks. Am I on the wrong block or did WhizWit cease to exist and become V Cafe? V Cafe looked like it just opened with 'grand opening' banners still hanging. We had a cheesesteak with sweet pepper and garlic waffle fries.

Now the cheesesteak. The closest thing I've ever had to a 'genuine' Philly cheesesteak is the one I had at Philadelphia airport a few months ago. I am not a cheesesteak expert but to my taste I don't think it was spectacular. The sweet pepper was a little too sweet for my taste.
