I have acquired a bottle of white truffle oil. I bought it after tasting it on bread and nearly swooning.
What else can I do with it other than mashed potatoes or dipping bread? Will the flavor stand up to cooking? Should I jsut use it anywhere that I'd like a mushroomy flavor? I am trying to watch my intact of simple carbs, so would like some non-potato or white bread suggestions.
I've looked through the board for other suggestions (found talk about going rancid, potatoes and eggs) and am looking for more.
