Wheat Thin(g)s

Has anyone else noticed the utter deterioration of Wheat Thins in recent years? They've gotten sweeter and sweeter (increased use of corn syrup, I assume), and lately it's seemed to me that the actual crackers have gotten thinner, if that's possible.

I got so disgusted by this that I recently stooped to buying my supermarket's (Key Food) store brand -- imaginatively called Thin Wheats -- and it turns out they're not bad! Not sweet at all, agreeably salty, nice thickness/depth. A teeny bit more crumbly than I'd prefer, but still pretty good. And $1.50 cheaper! I'm a convert.
