Whats the deal with all the BYOBs in town? It seems there isnt a day that goes by that a new one doesnt open. At first it was pretty cool, but it keeps perpetuating and now its annoying. I know our liquor laws are archaic and that makes it difficult & expensive to obtain a license (I know, Im in the business). If you want a nice wine, one must go to Jersey and bring the "contraband" back across the bridge. I like to make the wine selection and food paring part of the ordering experience. It puts too much pressure on me to select a bottle 3 hours before I see a menu. Am I crazy or does any other "hounds" share the same/similar thoughts???
