Whalebird Kombucha from San Luis Obispo

Melanie Wong | Jan 14, 201609:50 PM     1

At the Thursday night farmers market in downtown San Luis Obispo, I had the chance to sample Whalebird Kombucha, brewed here in town. You can refill a reusable jug or purchase a pint glassful.

I tried the Jasmine Bliss - very floral and almost berryish flavor - and Ginger Sarsaparilla - earthy and not as spicy as I prefer. I liked the style, not too funky and with a dry finish.
