Westside Indian take out, LA Express Chicken

Having the Indian hungries at least once a week, we have ordered from L.A. Express Chicken for the past 14 years through various owners. My stomach cries out for chicken curry usually on a Monday night, and this is the place to make tummy happy. The current owners seem to replicate this curry receipe that the original owner made: dark meat pieces in a rich sauce with a full almost smoky flavor - perfect with an almost divine raita, naan and some rice. Now the trick is to order a la carte because the dinners come with a lot of stuff and not enough of the main course. Most recently three of us ordered two orders of raita (one was enough), one order of chicken curry a la carte, one of lamb korma (truly delicious also using tender cubes of lamb, the Mulgtani soup (lentil) and chicken soup (pronounced outstanding) for my significant other who was feeling faintly under the weather. Ordered one order of boiled rice and after the owner pointedly asked, where are your vegetables, we ordered vegetable korma and made the salad ourselves. Plenty of food with leftovers for lunch. Oh we ordered two naan as well. Very prompt delivery.
