West Burbs, DeMarco's

Bill Pisarra | Jun 24, 200001:48 PM

Couple of years back a fellow paisan tipped me to DeMarco's in Itasca, little Italian place in a strip mall. Loved it. And a lot of the diners around me were speaking Italian, which is not a bad sign.

This tip came, alas, just before I moved out of the area. Have been back twice and loved it each time, the last time two years ago.

Thought this would be a great tip for the hounds, but my info is not fresh enough to flat out recommend the place. Anyone have fresh experience to share, or perhaps be willing to check it out and let us know?
If it's still as good as it was, you'll be glad you did...but a lot can change in two years.

If you're new to it, there were lines on weekends when I was there, but go early and you'll be fine.
