A weird dinner recommendation

Ace | May 3, 200610:36 AM     7

Well, not a weird dinner, but weird parameters.

This evening I am going to dinner with a friend who is homeless and has a little dog in the vicinity of my office (which is at Howard/Beale). The dog is a service dog, but my friend doesn't have the paperwork supporting that with her, so I'm afraid we won't be able to take him into anyplace. I'm looking for a restaurant where they might be cool about the dog, or we could sit outside with him. Any good ideas? All I can think of is the Ferry Building, because in a pinch we can take the food and sit outside (but I'd rather we not sit outside, because she's outside all day and night).

Thanks for your help.
