After being shut out at Mighty Midget I went over to Wegmans.

My daughter loved their kids play area. I was impressed with it too. They gave me a wrist band that matched my daughters. I was comfortable leaving her there. I was extra impressed when they actually checked when to be sure the numbers on the wristbank matched when I picked her up.

They did have dry aged beef in the case - $ 22.99 lb for the NY strips.

I love their seafood, and would make the drive just for their lobster bisque. I have never heard of this brand, I don't think it is a house brand but cannot find it anywhere else Todd's Island lobster bisque. If anyone knows where I can get that without driving 45 minutes, it is appreciated. A google search turned up nothing.

If you have never tried their lobster cakes, they are great. They also had excellent prices on live lobster $ 9.99 lb and they had many 2 pounders.

They had a sign up that the Fairfax store was opening February 13, 2005 and one of their staff people said that they were going to be opening an Annapolis store in Maryland.
