We are going to be in NYC in March and are trying to plan a reasonably comprehensive eating tour. We like interesting food, non-chains, reasonably quiet if possible, no real budget concerns, good service is highly preferred. We are looking for a range of experiences. Not really into fussy food (no foam), but fusion is fine. We are staying around Times Square and have theater tickets two nights and can eat either before and after (light each time) or just late. Going to be lunching around the Met/Natural History one day (probably Saturday). Looking for a good brunch place for Sunday - have a 2 pm matinee up near Central Park. Thoughts on places we have choosen/ideas. We may also be up near Columbia late one morning. Thanks so much.
Friday: Carnegie Deli - lunch
Keen's Pub - dinner
Serendipity (after play for dessert)
Saturday: ideas include (Public, Shun Lee, Breslin Bar, Maialio)
Brunch - open (considering Bar American, one of the Momafuko establishments, dim sum)
Dinner Jean George
Monday - good breakfast place near Times Square/deli - or any place we could stop on the way out to JFK
