Weekend in Niagara on the Lake

Hi there,

My parents, my sisters and I (the three of us are mid twenty-somethings) will be heading up to Niagara on the Lake for a weekend in a couple of weeks.

I've already done a bit of research and have booked dinner reservations at Stone Road Grill for Friday evening and Peller Estate Winery for Saturday night. For lunch on Saturday, I was thinking we could grab a quick lunch from Epicurean.

I have been unable to find much on the brunch front. Are there any nice spots in the area - preferably no further than a 15 minute drive from NOTL? Flexible on price and menu. I've read about Pie Plate but it seems a bit out of the way as we will be heading back to New York.

I have a list of about 8 - 10 wineries that we're interested in checking out. I've noticed that many of the wineries have "winery experiences" on their website - is it generally expected that one book winery visits in advance, or are you able to just drop by? Any recommended experiences in particular?

Lastly, are there any other unique non-wine sights/activities/experiences you would recommend? Any help or additional tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
