I am getting married this fall at the Westside Loft on 37th street and I am in process right now of looking for a caterer for the event. I was hoping to solicit some advice from my fellow chowhounds. We are planning on have a sit-down dinner for about 125 people and are open to all sorts of caterers- from the traditional catering firms to anymore unusual choices.
Please share any experience you have had with NYC caterers, good or bad. We are just starting the process and would love to hear some thoughts from people who are as serious about food as we are. Also, if you wouldnt mind, could you include any price points that you remember.
Of course, after our nuptials (and honeymoon), I will provide a complete report.
