Happy 2012, B-hammers !
We spent NYE/NYD down by the waterfront (Bellwether). Was looking for "child-friendly" place to eat on NYE. Determined to stay out of Fairhaven this time. Called Prospect St Cafe, Bayou on Bay and a few others downtown and every place had 30-45 mins wait time. We ended up settling for La Fiamma, not that there's anything wrong with them, we just didn't really feel like Italian pasta & pizza.
Drove by Waterfront Seafood & Bar four times and the adventurer/Chowhounder in me was dying to check it out. Visions of a sem-legit clientele, blues over the speakers, beer bottles clinking over serious chow at a dive by the train tracks just had me going. But Mrs. Lotus thought the place looked "dodgy" from the outside (with 6-yr old in tow, well maybe she was being prudent.....).
So can anyone gimme the lowdown of this place ? Menu on website looks limited but I'm still curious:
(and WTH is "broasted" chicken & jojo's ??? LOL)
