I did a double-take walking down Washington St. between Stockton and Grant, noticing that Washington Cafe (not to be confused with Washington Bakery in the next block) had suddenly morphed into Hunan House (not to be confused with Hunan Homes). The posted menus indicated a mix of Hunan and Sichuan styles, more or less, with hot pot being prominently featured.
It's still owned by the Man Kee people, evidenced by the fact that it said "Hunan House by Washington Cafe" on the awning. They are the same people that recently opened Grand Hotpot Lounge, and turned their Newark Man Kee outlet into a Sichuan restaurant.
