A buddy of mine told me that this place had opened and was great; I last saw it papered up a couple of months ago.

Very charming and sweet breakfast and sandwich place that just opened 3 weeks ago in the space thta used to be Alloro, across the street from Cibo on Hanover Street.

The Cubano is definitely not a traditional Cubano. BUT it's GREAT! Crispy shell from a pressed brioche (they use very good bread), a slice or two of black forest ham, a slice of pickle, and very flavourful pork, very tender, cut into shredded pieces. A bit wet, but totally delicious. I repeat, great pork. High production values and a good deal, even if it's $6.95.

Other sandwiches vary from $5.95 to $7.95. Haven't tried but looking to try soon. Breakfast stuff looks good on the menu, but haven't tried either, all look like they're under $5. Interesting potato chip selection.

Gracious, caring service.

I'd get there whilie it's still a low key neighbourhood place. It's quite prominent on Hanover Street, and I bet it'll fill up once the word gets out.
