Visiting SF and looking for your best recs

hello .. I’ll be visting SF next week from LA and would like recommendations on the following. We’ll be staying in Union Square, but anywhere fairly accessible by subway or taxi is still fair game. thanks in advance!

1. oysters/crab
I tried Swan Oyster Depot the last time, which was amazing but pricey. I’m thinking about Hog Island Oyster Co this time around as I’ve heard good things (especially since they have an oyster happy hour). How is Zuni Café for oysters?

2. charcuterie/panini/cheeses

3. small plates/tapas

4. higher-end
Looking for a special-occasion restaurant. No real food restrictions, except maybe something we wouldn’t already find in LA and no Asian-fusion. In past, we’ve enjoyed Farallon and Bacar.

5. sushi
Yum Yum Fish sounds like fantastic fish at a great bargain, so hopefully we’ll be able to make it out there. What time is good to get there and is there something interesting nearby to eat it at? Any other recommendations for very fresh fish at a reasonable price?

6. bakery
Both for fresh-baked bread (offering sandwiches are a plus) and tasty desserts/pastries. Citizen Cake of course comes to mind, but what to order and anywhere else worth trying?

7. happy hours
Preferably with both drink and food specials and with a nicer atmosphere (i.e. not sports bar-type establishments).

8. pizza
Thinking of Tommaso’s and A16. No particular style in mind, but just good pizza.

9. brunch
Won’t be around on Sunday, so a nice breakfast spot during the week would be great.

10. hot weather refreshments
Probably not that hot in SF, but stuff like gelato, italian ice, juices, etc.
