We're visiting NY in July and I'm trying to plan dinner spots (we like to hit random spots for this and that during the day).
At night, we like restaurants with great food, service, and a relaxed atmosphere with a good vibe. We don't like overly formal or "sceney" restaurants (even Babbo's a little formal for my taste). On past visits we've enjoyed dinner at places like Le Gigot, Po, Lupa, Gramercy Tavern (front room), 71 Clinton (when Wylie was there), Tartine, etc.
Considering repeating some of above (I probably can't resist the Lupa Bavette)but also considering trying others like Amuse, Tasting Room, Le Tableau, Cafe Sabarsky, etc.
Any suggestions? Thoughts?
