There are almost no discussions here about foodie magnets in Virginia Beach. The highest rated placed on Yelp are the typical boardwalk mid-Atlantic run of the mill seafood places that have a heavy emphasis on their drink menu - often more than their food menu, and a couple of places that look like local expense-account dining establishments. I've seen a couple of interesting coffee/bakery spots in the Vibe district, but I have not seen anything like a modest place that focuses itself on local seafood or produce - the kind of place where they are not trying to get too fancy, and if the price is higher than fast food it is because it going into the food rather than the decor. I would love for my impression to be dispelled here! Thank you for your suggestions!
