We had a gift certificate in the office for The Vineyard in North Andover. It took us three separate phone calls to get the menu faxed to us. Right there, I should have known better. But, we picked out what we wanted, and I went out to get the food. When I got there, there were four people in front of me in line. Each of them ordered something that was already sold out. It was only 12:30! When my turn came, I gave my order- Wrong!!! I ended up getting ½ wrap and a soup for myself. The sandwich was labelled " Smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, and Dijon Mustard". It was a few pieces of turkey, a few chunks of tomato which were tasteless, a piece of romaine, and some kind of yellow mustard, that was certainly not dijon. FOr a co worker, I tried to order a serving of vegatable. They told me they only served it by the pound- same goes with the eggplant- only served it four pieces at a time ( this is a deli, supposedely.) Whatever, I admit I gave up at this point. When I presented the gift certificate, they told me they could only give back 10% of the value of the certificate in cash. Clearly against the law, by again, I was ready to get out of there, so I bought a wedge of cheese. ( which they store in too cold of temperature) all in all, a bad experience. None of the food was good. Did I just hit them on a bad day? I usually bring my lunch, and I was hoping there was good sandwich place around.
