Vietnamese Hoagie Update, Bubble House

I tried the vietnamese hoagies at the Bubble house yesterday and they were "close but no cigar." The problem? The bread! They serve the hoagies on untoasted chewy soft Italian rolls a la Amoroso's. The bread needs to be the lightest, crispest, flakiest french baguette. The filling was good, juicy pork or chicken, pickled radish, hot peppers and fresh cilantro, so they were quite edible, but not the real mcoy.
We also sampled the cucumber salad which was tastless, the dumplings which were prefrozen, and the coconut shrimp which my son ordered and enjoyed.
They do make very good bubble drinks.
