Vietnamese Gem in Minneapolis

Hey there. I've discovered an incredible "hole in the wall" in S. Minneapolis. I almost cried when I had the soup it was so good. This is the real deal where everything is homemade, and the guy who makes your food brings it out to you. Plus he's very nice, too.

It's called Jasmine Deli, and it's at 2532 Nicollet Ave. The guy there is Vinny. I think he's only there during the days because he works at Big Bowl in the evenings.

The Chicken soup with rice noodles is wonderful. Deep tasting broth, hints of cliantro and lime and lots of fresh bean sprouts for the top. I couldn't stop thinking about it so I had to go back again. And again.

The ambience isn't much, but it's totally worth it. Enjoy!
