Vietnamese bun near Laurel (or in DC in general)

Ever since we moved up here, we've had a craving for the excellent bun (vermicelli) we came to love in Houston. Specifically, that combo of incredibly fresh, crisp vegetables and savory meats that you'd think would be easy to replicate. (We found it in Chicago, too.)

We've been to An Loi in Columbia and Four Sisters in Virginia and were pretty disappointed. Both had not quite fresh vegetables, and noodles that been sitting around, I think. To make matters worse, most Vietnamese places we've encountered are strictly pho.

Any options? Extra points for something close(ish) to Laurel, but we're willing to drive.
