I will be spending Christmas week in Venice with extended family ages 2-75. We're all foodies but because of kids and Christmas holidays we're thinking about dinner at home most of the time. I am wondering about great places to go shopping, bakeries (especially for panettone and other Christmas items), cheese shops, markets, etc. Bonus if it's a place that is friendly to kids where they might be able to see or taste things. Also looking for family favorite restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Any holiday specific food experiences? I am all ears. Any suggestions appreciated!
