We were in Vegas last weekend and had a marvelous food filled time. Truly outstanding.
Alex - Wonderful multi-hour (4) dinner, all stops pulled, fantastic. Really enjoyed everything. This was one of the finest meals I've had, and I've had a few... This was remarkable in that I am allergic to seafood and fish (bummer, yes) and my wife eats no meat or poultry. But they didn't even blink, accomodating all changes to the tasting menu with grace and style, even changing wine pairings perfectly to match my sub ins. We went as a party of 4, two of us doing tasting menu with wine and two the three course.
We had two sets of amuse bouches, with wonderful bites with each and every amuse. Really great, tasty stuff which ran from proscuitto wrapped breadstick to mushroom filled pastry to tuna tartare filled lobster chip, mini feather-light chilled pea soup and much more. My larger amuse of ricotta gnocchi with chantrelles was also fantastic. All was excellent, big standouts were the sauteed foie with turnips and plum, pancetta wrapped veal tenderloin, turbot, and braised short ribs. Yowza, that was really, really great stuff, just one thing brought out after another with much joy on our part.
Fantastic, spot on service that left us relaxed and well cared for. Thought the wine pairings were just perfect and interesting, and portions in the tasting menu and throughout were just right. A wonderful place, and a supremely well executed meal, hard to imagine better in LV though I would love the opportunity to search some more. Any sponsors out there, just let me know.
