What varietals are in Hearty Burgundy?

As of late my wife and I have been teaching ourselves quite a bit about wine, exploring Sauvignon Blancs, Pinot Noirs, Rieslings, and a whole host of wonderful stuff from around the world. On a bit of a lark, we decided to take a trip back in time to our youth and re-experience one of the first wines we ever had: Gallo's Hearty Burgundy.

Great thing is, for a $4.99 per 1.5 liter wine, it's really not that bad. Its only aroma is a vauge "wine smell" -- warm and alcohol-y. The taste is simple, smooth, and completely unoffensive. Now my wife and I are dying to know -- what's it made out of? There's certainly no hints on the bottle. Anything anyone knows about this venerable American tradition, I'd sure love to hear about...
