New Vancouver restaurant for birthday dinner

foodiefromlondon | Feb 1, 201112:13 PM     4

Hi!

I just moved back to Vancouver after 4 years in London and am very behind on the dining scene. I want to go out for dinner on a sunday night at a new(ish), trendy restaurant. I am looking for somewhere that will still have atmosphere on a sunday night and won't kick us out if we aren't done eating by 10:00pm. Can someone please give me some recommendations on 'must-try' restaurants with a reasonable price range (ie Less than Lumiere more than Earls)? I eat every kind of food however since I have Japanese at least 3 times a week - I would prefer other cuisines for this dinner. Thanks in advance for all your help!!
