Utopia Cafe -- SFCCLS #7 Report

Greetings!

The SF Chinatown Chowdown Lunch Series #7 took place on 4/30 at Utopia Cafe. We ordered the following set menu and added two of Utopia's well respected rice clay pots.

Set menu (for 10):
Appetizer platter
- Jellyfish, fried fish, gizzards, chicken wings, and pickled vegetables
Three ingredients dried scallop yellow chives soup
Beef vegetable (broccoli)
Scallop and squid twin stir fry
Peking (Sweet-and-Sour) ribs
Two crabs with green onion and ginger
Shitake mushroom over fresh vegetables
Steamed whole fish
Free Range Chicken
Extras:
Frog and sausage rice clay pot
Salted fish and pork hash rice clay pot

Total cost came to $23 per person for 16 people.

A homemade dessert of coconut and peanut mochi was provided by yimster.
