It is open now. Went yesterday for a quick snack and this morning for the morning jolt.

Snack: bowl of tomato rice soup. Almost all of their soups (with exceptions clearly noted) are vegan. The soup came with a nice hunk of toasted bread and butter. While not earth-shattering, the soup hit the spot on a winter day. Also had the spanish latte (includes sweetened condensed milk) - always a hit with me.

Had the same coffee in the AM with a brilliant ginger scone. Not a true or authentic scone, but mighty fine for this ginger lover.

They have started a valet parking thing (blech) - $3.50. In the morning, anyway, metered street parking was plentiful and parked right across the street. I parked about 2 blocks away in the afternoon.

The atmosphere is essentially the same as in their Beverly Hills place - outdoor tables on a nice patio, inside tables too close together - but with a fireplace nearby that may actually be appreciated right about now.
