Restaurants & Bars 2

Uptown Lounge

Hi all,

I know that this is a food-posting board, but, I wanted to share my experiences with this UES lounge. As far as food, bear with me, will be addressed: )

This lounge is a very refreshing change from the Frat-type bars in the UES. It really brings a downtown feel to the area. My friends and I have begun to take advantage of the $6 martinis (15 to choose from) on Wednesdays (oh, and they don't skimp...the glasses are quite big.)

As far as food is concerned, I tried the chicked skewers and, let me say, they were FABULOUS. I don't think I've ever had chicken cooked to such perfection in terms of the tenderness and juciness of all white meat skewers (however, I NEVER order chicken in a restaurant, so that could also be why). A friend ordered Pizza and that also looked quite good.

Becky, I'll see you at Uptown on Wednesday and I'm still waiting for your post with a Sip Sak review!
