Upper East side

20 or so years ago, I went to a place somewhere on the upper east side when ever I was in town.I have not been to New York in 20 years, but will be in town next week. The place had large photos of sport figures who eat there on every wall. Babe Ruth, Lou Geherigh, Joe Dimaggio Joe Namath, and many others. On the menu was a little history of the place and a story of some of the lengendary eating feats of Babe Ruth in the place. They had a great lamb chop dish as well as a roasted chicken with a dressing that was excellent. A very good place. Any idea what I'm talking about and is it still there? While on the subject of sports figures, is Jack Dempsey's still open? Do they still have the good open faced roast beef sandwich?
