Ate twice at USC this week for lunch and had the kind of meals that have put USC on the map. If anyone can get over there and get the seared scallops, you will have had one of the truely great dishes being served anywhere in the world. the dish is served with some kind of small grain/pasta with beans and other green stuff that made for amazing flavors. Also, the baby arugala, prosciuotto, fig and shaved parm salad with aged vinegar was so fresh tasting with such crisp flavors. Had the lambchops today and they were fantastic. The desserts were equally amazing and our table had the USC version of strawberry shortcake both days. amazing. only problem with the meal was deciding what to have - so much of the menu was so tempting. Nice to know that this long-time champ can still deliver a culinary knockout.
